The loft conversion was designed as an office and the eaves space was ideal for hiding the required pipework, so no trunking was necessary. A recessed space was also made to one wall to tuck the floor mounted unit in, allowing maximum room space for the office whilst retaining maximum efficiency of the air conditioning unit.
For the master bedroom we added a ducted unit hidden from view in the loft conversion eaves which feeds through a smart linear grill in the bedroom ceiling.
These units can be controlled with infrared controllers from anywhere in the room, so the client can easily keep cool in the summer months and has the option to provide heating from them in the winter too.
